Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: March 9, 2026
Serene Space AI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
♿ Our Commitment
We believe mental wellness support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
1. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Serene Space AI is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Our platform is tested and compatible with:
- Desktop: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest versions)
- Mobile: Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android (latest versions)
For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser with JavaScript enabled.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist:
- AI Voice Recognition: May have difficulty with certain accents, speech patterns, or background noise. Text input is always available as an alternative.
- Animated Elements: Some subtle animations may not be pausable. Users with vestibular disorders can enable "reduced motion" in their operating system settings, which we respect.
- Third-Party Integrations: Some third-party services (payment processor) may have their own accessibility limitations.
- Complex AI Responses: AI-generated content may occasionally lack optimal structure for screen readers. We are continuously improving this.
6. Ongoing Efforts
We are committed to continuous improvement. Our ongoing accessibility initiatives include:
- Regular accessibility audits by third-party experts
- User testing with people with disabilities
- Training for our development team on accessibility best practices
- Incorporating accessibility into our design and development process
- Monitoring and fixing accessibility issues as they are discovered
- Updating content and features to maintain compliance with evolving standards
7. Accessibility in AI Coaching
7.1 Coaching Modalities
We offer multiple ways to interact with AI coaches:
- Text-based chat: For users who prefer or require text communication
- Voice conversations: For users who find voice interaction easier
- Hybrid mode: Users can switch between voice and text within the same session
7.2 Customization Options
- Adjustable text size within the platform
- Dark mode and light mode options
- Conversation pacing controls
- Session length preferences
- Notification preferences
8. Third-Party Content
While we strive to ensure accessibility throughout our platform, some third-party content and services may not be fully within our control. We work with vendors who share our commitment to accessibility and encourage them to improve their accessibility standards.
9. Mobile Accessibility
Our platform is designed to be accessible on mobile devices:
- Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes
- Touch-friendly interactive elements (minimum 44x44 pixels)
